About Bangkok Thai Restaurant

Thai restaurant

Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a thai restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 13200 Falls of Neuse Rd #131, Raleigh, NC 27614, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian restaurant, southeast asian restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Raleigh, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–2 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 554-1561. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is order.toasttab.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 418 reviews, which is a strong result for a thai restaurant in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was amazing! Service was good. Could have been a little happier even if we were early but the experience was still great. We will be back!

Worst Thai curry I have ever had. Panang 0/5. Tastes like watered down coconut milk and dust. Pad Thai was 3 out of 5 meh. Pineapple fried rice was greasy 1/5. Weak Thai. Doesn't taste fresh, they definitely aren't making that curry paste in house.

Absolutely loved our meal at Bangkok Thai! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and tasted incredibly authentic. The veggies were fresh, vibrant, and cooked to perfection β€” you can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients. The staff was so warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Our food came out quickly, and there’s plenty of parking, which made things super convenient. There’s a huge variety of vegetarian and vegan options, which we really appreciated, and everything was very reasonably priced. We tried their special β€” two for $40 β€” which includes a 3-course meal with soup and salad, and it was such a great deal. Definitely planning to go back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Overall Score: 4.9/10 - The overall atmosphere is modest, with a simple and smaller setting. While the servers are attentive with water, their quiet demeanor and a notable mistake at an adjacent table, which led to those customers leaving, did affect the overall experience. Atmosphere: 4.7/10 - The space is small and lacks distinctive features, offering a straightforward dining environment. It’s clean and functional but lacks elements that might make it stand out. The simplicity might appeal to those seeking a no-frills dining experience. Service: 3.8/10 - The service is punctual, particularly with keeping water glasses filled, but the staff’s quietness might not suit everyone. Observing a significant error with another table’s order suggests that service consistency could be improved to avoid impacting the dining experience of others. Pineapple Fried Rice: 6.2/10 - A satisfying dish featuring a good mix of ingredients like fresh chicken and excellent shrimp. The dish is well-flavored and priced reasonably, offering a decent value for those looking for quality and freshness in their meal. Appetizer Platter: 6.1/10 - Tasty overall with a highlight being the excellent chicken sat

I’ve been ordering takeout from Bangkok Thai in Wake Forest at least twice a month, and it’s become my go-to spot for delicious Thai food. Their pineapple fried rice is a total winnerβ€”perfectly cooked rice mixed with sweet, juicy pineapple chunks and savory flavors that hit all the right spots. It’s consistently amazing and always feels like a treat. The chicken wings are another must-have; they’re crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely addictive. I can’t get enough of them, and they travel well for takeout, arriving hot and fresh every time. Ordering to-go is super convenient, and the staff is always friendly when I pick up my food. The portions are generous, and the presentation is vibrant, even in takeout containers, which makes the meal feel special. Plus, the strip mall location has plenty of free parking, so it’s easy to swing by and grab my order without any hassle. My only suggestion, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that I’d love to see a bit more variety on the menu. The current dishes are fantastic, but something like mango fried rice would be a fun addition to mix things up alongside the pineapple version. Spicy chicken wings would also be a great option
